WPST Swimmers and Families:

We are excited to begin planning for our 2026 summer swim season! Once again, we look forward to filling the roles of junior assistant coaches. These positions last one summer season, and all interested candidates need to apply/re-apply each year. This is a paid position, and the criteria to apply include:

• Be at least 16 years old & a current Woodland Pond swim team member
• Prefer a certified lifeguard and certifications in CPR and First Aid
• Prefer an individual that has Coach in Training experience
• Assist the Head Coach in teaching swimmers of all ability levels in the four competitive strokes
• Establish positive relationships with swimmers and parents
• Guide swimmers to establish individual and team goals
• Available morning and night practices
• Assist Head Coach in set up and break down of practice daily
• Attend all swim meets
• Help with meet entries as needed
